Hi. I'm Kate.
I live in Fredericton, NB with my husband, 3 tiny humans, and 2 pups. I love Jesus, and my little family, and clothes that look like they're straight off the set of Little House on the Prairie. I am a huge lover of coffee that hasn't been reheated in the microwave 7 times, little houses that look like barns, flowery dresses and cowboy boots, and golden barley fields . My lifelong dream is to live in a little house in the woods with my family and dogs + MORE dogs and two highland calves and many many goats and chickens. And probably a couple horses. We'll see ;)
I grew up on BEAUTIFUL Prince Edward Island, and have been photographing people since 2008, when I decided to pursue turning this lifelong passion into a career. I began my learning online and through books, and I opened my little business in 2009, spending the next few years working from our homes in NFLD, then Northern Labrador, and then Moncton. We eventually settled here in Fredericton in 2021, and since then, I've been so blessed with the most amazing clients from New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. I've photographed Mommas in labour and babies entering the world, couples saying "I Do" on clifftops and in barns and during hurricanes, and so many amazing families.
I promise to always put my entire heart into my work. In the decade-plus since I've begun working with newborns, I am still head-over-heels in love with baby lips and fingers and toes and smooshy little back rolls. I still think every momma with a tiny human growing in her belly is the MOST beautiful thing in this entire world. I still have to work on not crying during first-glimpses between a bride and her dad, and during personalized wedding vows. I promise to be fun to work with, and do my absolute best to make you comfortable, and relaxed, while I capture beautiful moments between you and the people you love most in this world.
